Carrageenan has been shown to give ulcerative colitis to lab rats in a Chicago University trial... I have UC. I ain't touchin that stuff.
I just got done readin about plutonium mining in "The World W/out Us" by Alan Wiesman. A REAL eye opener and a damn shame that it still goes on
It's not like the old days when you could just CARE. Now, apparently, it has to be shoved down other people's throats! :) REALLY enjoyed this!
Good stuff to know! So crazy how we grow up with stuff we don't really think twice about, and come to find out it's crap. Yikes!!
WOW! That's really incredible. So funny that so many of these things make sense and yet none of us really stop and THINK about it ha! Thanks for making us think!!
We can blame Monsanto for many a horrible things they are doing right now, but how about putting blame where it is needed: our US government protecting big corporation instead of it's own people. I think that's a more important view point.
Vital Choice is a wonderful company. I used to work in a call center that sold their products. They are very legitimate in their practices and they are honest in their statements of the products. Good stuff!!
I live in ME and we do not have winters like we used to, that's for sure. They're warmer and more sleet, sometimes even rain, than beautiful snow. This past winter was more ike a typical one than we've had for about 5 or 6 yrs!
That's awesome to hear, "theyoungretiree"! My husband said it isn't even flavorful in any sense of the word. This is just.. gross
This article is like a DUH moment for my brain... Thank you! And it helps to eat as slowly as possible, btw.
Of course, NOTHING is that easy! Though when we consider how sedentary most Americans are, at least this is doing something... And I think cleaning is kind of fun :)
Almost everyone knows yoga is great for your overall well-being; I like how this article gets down to the nitty gritty and actually tells you HOW it is good for you.
HAHA! It made me giggle! Um... the writing style... not the subject... It's very disturbing and makes me want to move.
May be something new to try out... Thanks :)
It's so nice to hear some GOOD things happening in the world :)
Who doesn't want to look and feel healthy while sipping on something tasty? It's just that easy!
Yet another case of big corps. taking over America and destroying our health in the meantime. Thank you so much Homey Colony for keeping us informed!
I agree with the reader above, it's a little surprising about olive oil. Thanks!
AWESOME! I thank goodness there is more info on IBS and other gastric disorders these days. It is becoming less "taboo" and more of a household name. IBS is very real!
Thank you for sharing this! It's so important for pl to understand everything in the body is connected. I'll be looking for Part II!
I would do anything for my kitty kat! I also agree with Old Hippie that if Guardians do not smoke or are uneasy about giving their pets the traditional ingestion of marijuana, then oils and salves are the way to go.
What a wonderful story you have! Thank you so much for sharing your journey!
This was very interesting. The idea of the toxins in our household affecting our libido makes sense,a s we know now, they effect our hormones. Nice one!
A nice little article. Ayurvedic Practices are definitely the way to go for overall wellness. I would suggest to pl who are interested to find a local practitioner as there is a lot of information out there and they may be able to narrow down a routine fit just for you!
Hip Hop Hooray! I read about this in Deepak Chopra's "Perfect Digestion" awhile back . I started drinking this every morning and after dinner. It's easy AND effective.
