Carolyn Scott-Hamilton

Carolyn just celebrated her 14th year as a vegan as well as an entrepreneur. After graduating in 1998 from the University of Miami with an AA in microbiology, Carolyn moved to Los Angeles to start her own production company. After a few short months, Carolyn stumbled upon a book that would change her path forever. Reading Fit For Life as a means to get in L.A. shape after years of struggling with her weight, she opted to switch to a plant-based diet.

In order to do it properly and knowledgeably, she went on to receive her master’s in holistic nutrition, attended prestigious culinary programs, and got a head start on her Ph.D. in naturopathic medicine, all while successfully running her full-service lifestyle and entertainment PR, branding and event planning firm, Inventions. Having worked in TV development and with the addition of the production branch of her company, Carolyn decided to combine her many passions – travel, healthy food, and film. Carolyn is the executive producer, creator, host, and writer of The Healthy Voyager web series and radio show, site and overall brand.

A well respected expert in the fields of travel, health, green living, and the culinary arts, Carolyn has been featured on the Discovery Channel, CNN, USA Today and Martha Stewart Radio, just to name a few. A regular contributor to news outlets such as Yahoo Shine, IVillage, The Huffington Post and numerous others, The Healthy Voyager is the go-to source for all things healthy and green living and travel.

Additionally, Carolyn is a sought-after speaker at notable national conventions, expos, conferences, schools, corporate businesses and festivals. A holistic nutritionist, vegan chef, bestselling cookbook author, filmmaker, screenwriter, traveler, singer, dancer, and loving wife, The Healthy Voyager aims to help people live well, one veggie at a time!
