The Silver Healer is unique among other silver engines because of an unparalleled symphony of properties. Highly important among those is its “constant current” design. A constant current system varies the voltage across an electronic circuit to maintain a constant electric current. Maintaining a low density, stable current ensures that the ionic/colloidal silver blend produced by the Silver Healer is uniformly nano-sized and consistent from batch to batch.
The case is produced using cutting-edge 3D printing, which makes it simultaneously lightweight and strong, while incredibly internally detailed. This case literally cannot be produced by conventional injection molding techniques.
The Silver Healer produces a combination of both ionic and colloidal silver: approximately 70 to 80 percent ionic silver and 20 to 30 percent colloidal silver. Silver ions are individual silver atoms that have lost an electron, leaving them with a positive charge. This is the natural result of using an electric potential? to disperse silver into distilled water. Colloidal particles are uncharged atoms of silver in various groupings from individual to many multiples of silver atoms. These particles are called “colloidal” because they are so small that they do not settle to the bottom of the liquid. They are not “dissolved” like sugar would be, but rather, the motion of the water molecules keeps them suspended.
What happens with the Silver Healer is that silver ions disperse into the distilled water so that initially the product is all ionic, but then some free electrons from the environment join with the ions, and some of the resulting atoms then combine into colloidal particles.
Although some argue that colloidal is the most effective form of silver, research shows that colloidal is effective when its particle size is very small, because that allows it to become ionic in the body. Therefore, silver in its ionic form is truly the most effective.
The Silver Healer can be adjusted to produce ionic/colloidal silver between about 2ppm and 10ppm. Ppm stands for “Parts Per Million” and is a ratio between the distilled water and the silver. For example, 5ppm means a ratio of five parts of silver to 1,000,000 parts of water, or 5/1,000,000 as a fraction. If you were to drop a one ounce silver medallion into 200,000 ounces of water, it would be exactly 5PPM, although it would do no one any good because it would be a single particle.
Although some of the colloidal silver on the market has greater PPM, a higher PPM is not what makes the silver more effective. It’s the size of the particles, which determines its efficiency, as the smaller a particle is, the more easily it is absorbed into the body.
When The Silver Healer is shipped, it is set to produce a solution of ~ 5ppm. We feel that the particle size, and therefore the unimaginably vast quantity of particles, is far more important than the exact “parts per million,” and that a 5ppm solution with ionic and nano-sized colloidal content is an ideal compromise between processing time and usefulness. Also, when you are taking 5 ppm ionic/colloidal silver, it is much harder to overdose on it. One of the main arguments against conventional ionic/colloidal silver is that if you take too much of it, it can cause argyria, a disease which turns one’s skin blue. In truth, there have been very few cases of argyria, and those who did develop the disease did not take the proper form of ionic/colloidal silver. The most important factor that determines the effectiveness of the silver is the particle size. Using the science of the Tyndall Effect, we can easily demonstrate that the vast majority of the silver particles that are suspended in the water, using this machine, are less than half a micron in size. Using a violet laser with a wavelength of 405 nanometers (1000nm = 1 micron), we see nothing at all when we shine it through distilled water, but then after we process the water with the Silver Healer, we can see a pale, smoky-like trace of particles.
According to the science, we know that the laser wavelength (405 nm) defines the upper limit of the size of the particles that are illuminated; in other words, none of those particles are larger than 405nm, although they might all be far, far smaller. Based on the very low current density electrolytic process we are using, we believe that those particles are in fact all well below 100 nanometers in size (< 1/10th micron), thus justifying our referring to the product as nano-silver.
The process does result in a few larger particles here and there, as bits of silver sometimes “flake off” of the rods. This is why we recommend always filtering the product through a paper coffee filter (preferably unbleached) to remove any larger particles. Once you do, you’ll have safe, high-grade nano ionic-colloidal silver at your disposal.
If you want to test the product of the machine to make sure it’s been changed, you can shine any ordinary red laser pointer through the pure distilled water before you process it – you should not see a “beam,” though perhaps you’ll see “sparklies”, i.e. little flecks of dust. After you’ve processed a batch, shine the pointer again – you may need to view this against a dark background. You’ll see a faint, smoky “trail” which is silver particles smaller than the wavelength of the red laser light (650 nanometers).
